What are BodyTite™ and FaceTite™?
BodyTite™ and FaceTite™ are instruments that have both been approved by the FDA. They are both used in radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL), and they both have a cannula and an electrode attached to them. BodyTite™ can be used on many parts of the body including the abdomen, neck, hips, buttocks, thighs, and arms. FaceTite™ can be used anywhere on the face, even around the eyes. Most patients can resume their normal activities within just days of treatment, but patients who undergo BodyTite™ should wait a set amount of time before engaging in strenuous exercise. The results can last for several years.
What Does a Tummy Tuck Involve?
A tummy tuck or abdominoplasty is a cosmetic surgical procedure done to make the patient’s stomach tighter and flatter. It can involve tightening abdominal muscles that have been loosened by pregnancy or age and removing excess fat and/or skin.
In many cases, our surgeon can reposition the navel to make the newly tightened skin look natural. The surgeon can also pull the abdominal muscles closer together and then stitch them into position. If the surgeon is removing a lot of fat deposits, liposuction may also be performed in conjunction with the tummy tuck procedure.
