Get Rid of Dynamic Wrinkles with BOTOX

August 7, 2017 by

As the name implies, dynamic wrinkles are wrinkles that you have because of action. For example, when you smile, you get creases around the outer corners of your eyes. When you are young and your skin is in its healthiest condition, you may get a few wrinkles because of these expressions. However, your skin just goes back to looking nice, healthy, and youthful when your face is at rest and you are not making any expressions. However, as you get older and as your skin changes and you make the same expressions time and again, instead of your face just bouncing back to normal, your skin starts to crease. If you are concerned about the dynamic wrinkles that you have on your face, you may be able to treat this problem using BOTOX®.

Why does BOTOX® work to treat dynamic wrinkles? You need to understand what the treatment is made from. It is basically a purified protein solution that is designed to relax certain facial muscles. With this treatment, the muscles do not contract with the exact same intensity as before. This leads to smoother skin and fewer wrinkles in the treated area. If you are on the younger side and you only have a few dynamic wrinkles, you may see your wrinkles completely go away.

A common misconception about BOTOX® is that it inhibits the patient’s ability to make normal facial expressions. This could not be further from the truth. The patient can still make all of the normal expressions, but the skin in the treated area will remain smooth instead of showing signs of aging.

BOTOX® is so popular nowadays simply because it works. It has been used thousands and thousands of times not only in the United States, but in other countries all around the world. It has helped individuals in their younger years prevent dynamic wrinkles from forming. And it has helped individuals who are a bit older in order to get rid of their dynamic wrinkles.

If you are interested in learning more about this fantastic treatment, schedule a consultation at The Institute of Aesthetic Surgery. We would be happy to tell you more about the product and the benefits it can provide you. Contact us today to book an appointment at our office in Celebration or Altamonte Springs!
